Factory Event and Catering – Shipping Policy

At Factory Event and Catering, we are committed to providing fast, reliable, and transparent delivery for all orders within South Africa. This policy reflects our shipping logic and ensures your checkout totals match exactly.
1. Shipping Methods & Costs

| Heavy Delivery | Heavy items OR Standard items subtotal ≥ R15,000 | R1,500 | 2–8 business days | Applies to bulky, heavy items and large standard orders. |
How it works:
- Standard items (<R15,000) → Standard Delivery appears free at checkout.
- Standard items (≥R15,000) → Heavy Delivery automatically replaces Standard Delivery at checkout.
- Heavy items → Heavy Delivery always applies.
- Mixed cart (standard + heavy) → Heavy Delivery applies.
2. Order Processing Time
- Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed the next business day.
- You will receive:
- Order confirmation email immediately after purchase
- Shipping confirmation email once your order is dispatched
3. Delivery Procedure
- Orders are delivered directly to your door.
- If you are unavailable, delivery may be attempted the next business day.
- Signature confirmation is generally required for security.
4. Damaged, Defective, or Missing Items
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
- Email: admin@factoryeventandcatering.co.za with your order number and attach photos.
- We may offer a replacement, repair, or refund at no extra cost.
5. Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery
- Ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate.
- Returned parcels due to incorrect addresses may incur re-delivery fees.
